What are the most valuable global brands?
Marketing firm Interbrand calculates brand value by assessing its influence in driving
customer choice and its strength in relation to the competition. It also
looks at its current and forecast financial performance, and comes up with a top 100 list. The 2018 rankings were just released.
What does this have to do with supply chain? Not much, but's it's fun to look at, and there are some supply chain companies on this list, published below:

Supply chain leader Amazon clocks in at number 3. Software companies Oracle and SAP surprisingly come in at 19 and 21, respectively. UPS scores well, at number 29, with rivals FedEx (72) and DHL(79) ranking further down the list.
Apple and Google took the top two slots.
