Most of us have probably heard the term "machine learning" with regards to supply chain software.

The term would seem somewhat self-explanatory, but what is machine learning all about, really? Is it delivering value yet - or is this a technology of the future?

Hank Canitz of Logility knows the answer to those questions and more, and he and SCDigest editor Dan Gilmore have an interesting conversation on the state of machine learning in supply chain software, excerpted from our weekly Supply Chain Video News broadcast with CSCMP this week.

As Gilmore says at the end of the interview, there's more happening already then he realized, yet still a very long way to go.
